Rattery Policies and Process

How to adopt:

  1. Fill out an adoption application.  Please fill out the application completely, as I will not accept incomplete applications or "I don't know" answers.
  2. Contact us to let us know you filled out an application and to follow up if it has been approved.  Let us know if you are either ready to adopt now or want to be added to a Paid Waitlist
  3. Once babies are available they will be posted on our Facebook page on first come, first serve basis(If you don't have access to Facebook, let me know and I can share pictures other ways).  If you are on our Priority Waitlist, you get first pick, which I will message you about privately.  (Please get back to us within 24 hours about your pick.)
  4. Non-Refundable Deposits are required to reserve rats.  Deposits are HALF of the total adoption fee.  The rest is due before or at pick up.  Your rats will not be handed over until your fee is paid. Deposits and Payments can be paid through Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal.  
  5. Please review and complete the ADOPTON AGREEMENT at some point BEFORE picking up your rats. 

Little Whiskers Rattery has the right to cancel adoption and/or exchange the rat(s) due to temperament, health, or ability to improve our breeding. We also reserve the right to deny applications and adoptions at any time if we feel the situation is not right.
